Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

Do you wish to become Catholic or to deepen your understanding of the Catholic faith? If so, the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is for you.

OCIA is an annual program in English that is open to everyone: Catholics, non-Catholic Christians, and non-Christians. OCIA serves as a refresher for those who have been distant from the Church for some time, and is also the normal road people take in order to become Catholic—in order to enter into full communion with Jesus Christ and his Catholic Church.

Our OCIA program, led by Deacon Greg Casteel, begins in the fall and finishes in the spring of each year, and meets on Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm in our parish hall (below the church).

If you have questions about the Catholic faith, are interested in becoming Catholic, or are already Catholic but would like to speak with a priest or go to confession, please call our church office at 870-772-1115, and ask to schedule a meeting with one of our priests.

If you are interested in the Catholic faith but are a Spanish speaker, please call our church office at 870-772-1115, and ask to schedule a meeting with one of our priests.
